Super Categories help you organize your menu by grouping related categories together. They allow you to create a three-level menu structure:

Super Category (e.g., Wines)
→ 2. Category (e.g., White Wines)
→→ 3. Menu Item (e.g., Sauvignon Blanc)
Super Categories are used for visual organization only — they do not include an active button like regular categories do for expanding item lists.
Important:

To add a Super Category, always create a new category and designate it as a Super Category.

Do not convert an existing Category into a Super Category — doing so will remove it from the visible menu.

The Super Category feature is only available on Layout 1 and 3. Your Super Categories won't be visible if you are using Layout 2 or 4.

When you create your restaurant’s page, you’ll start with one default category titled “Your New Category (1). Rename and edit it!”. Begin by renaming it—simply enter your new title in the Category Title field.
To add a short or detailed description for the category, click the “+” icon next to the Category Description heading.
Tip: Ideally, you’ll have already set your languages before you start adding categories. If you have, you’ll see buttons to open input fields for each language. This allows you to add translations for the title, short description, and long description.

Important: Click Save Changes frequently as you enter new text. Otherwise, if you forget and navigate to another category or page, you’ll lose any unsaved data. Save buttons are located both at the top and bottom of the category box.

Adding a photo is optional. If you don’t upload one, it will simply collapse in the menu display.

You can also include a video for your category.
All videos must be hosted on YouTube. Simply paste the YouTube URL into the designated field.

We’d be happy to host your video for you! Just message us on WhatsApp (+34 672 076 448) and we’ll help you upload and link it.You can choose to hide a category from your menu during specific times. For example, if you don’t serve breakfast after 11:00 a.m., select all days and set “Hide from” 11:00 a.m. “Until” your closing time.
If you have categories that should appear only on weekends, simply select all weekdays to hide and set the timing from your opening to closing hours.
The category will automatically be hidden during the specified times and visible at all other times.
If you wish to stop offering a category temporarily without deleting it, use the Hide Category button.
The category won’t appear on your menu until you reactivate it by clicking Show Category.
In the left-side category list, hidden categories are shown in red.
You can arrange the order of your categories in two ways:

Change the number next to each category title in the left-side category list.

Modify the Position number in the blue header of each category. Remember to click Save Changes after updating the number here.
The order numbers don’t need to be consecutive. You can assign higher numbers to some categories to create space for adjusting others.
The system will always display categories starting with the lowest number and progressing to higher ones.

To add more categories, click the Create New Category button at the bottom of the page.
Sometimes, you may need to refresh the page to see newly updated values for each category in the left-side list. Simply reload the page, and you’ll see the latest titles and order numbers.
